3 of our 2nd year “Licence Cybersecurity” students, ranked first in Togo, went to compete with professionnals, in the final phase of a hacking competition organized by ECOWAS (HACKERLAB ECOWAS 2022), from October 10th to 12th, 2022 in Cotonou, Benin They came out seventh, ahead of the teams of Senegal and Ivory Coast.

Imagine a student who presents his capstone project, at the STUDENT PROJECT OPEN DAYS (JPOPE), which takes place at IPNET INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY’s campus, on the first Saturday of September every year, in the presence of corporate IT managers, recruiters, and other headhunters. Imagine the same student, Bachelor graduate, now enrolled in a Master degree program, where he presents another set of 3 capstone projects during JPOPE. Moreover, the same student has the opportunity to get to know tens of other capstone projects presented at JPOPE every year by peer students project teams: this student has enough know-how and culture to go to a company and say this to them: “you see, currently, your company has such a problem, if you fix it, here are the benefits you can get from it; I can do it for you if I am hired in your company, or if you let me provide services to your company” Such a graduate, believe me, can be recruited for the targeted position; this is called being a job (or position) creator in a company. This is the opposite of young graduates who write to companies to ask them for hands-on training, which can be interpreted as an admission of incompetence...
